Martin Gronemann

Martin Gronemann studierte von 2013-2020 Rechtswissenschaften an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg mit dem Schwerpunkt Staat und Verwaltung. Von August 2015 bis Februar 2017 arbeitete er als studentische Hilfskraft am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsprivatrecht von Prof. Dr. Jochen Hoffmann. Anschließend wechselte er an den Lehrstuhl für Öffentliches Recht und Völkerrecht von Prof. Dr. Markus Krajewski. Hierbei war er primär im Rahmen der Law Clinic zum PAG beschäftigt, welche die Novellen auf ihre Vereinbarkeit mit Verfassung und menschenrechtlichen Bestimmungen untersuchte. Ab September 2019 übernahm er Teile der Betreuung des Jessup Moot Court Teams. Nachdem Martin Gronemann sein erstes Staatsexamen erfolgreich absolviert hat, ist er seit März 2020 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl. Als German National Administrator organisierte er die German National Rounds des Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court 2021 (digital).

Sein Forschungs- und Interessensschwerpunkt liegt im Bereich des Investitionsschutzvölkerrechts, Investor-Staat Schiedsverfahren sowie im allgemeinen Verfahrensrecht.

 

Martin Gronemann studied law from 2013 until 2020 at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, focusing on Constitutional and Administrative Law. From August 2015 until February 2017, he worked as a student research assistant at the chair of Private Economy Law (Prof. Dr. Jochen Hoffmann). After this, he changed to the chair for Public Law and International Public Law of Prof. Dr. Markus Krajewski. Subsequent to graduating, he has started working as a research associate at the Chair of Public and Public International Law at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in March 2020. As the German National Administrator, he organised the 2021 German National Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court (digital).

His research focuses on International Investment Law. His other areas of interest are Investor-State arbitration and procedural law in general.
